I got my Frankford Arsenal Trim and Prep Center today,I tell you what, that machine is impressive.I wish I would have bought one a long time ago.It is very easy to set up,the trim lengths are consistent too.Trim, chamfer, deburr and clean primer pockets takes about 10-20 seconds for each case. That's quite a time saver for what I consider the most tedious part of case prep. It's about like going from a manual meat grinder to a good electric one.The machine does most of the work.I got mine from Amazon.com for 135.99 + 11.22 tax for a total of 147.21,free shipping. Not too bad when you consider all the tools come with it.
Same here. I picked one up in December and love the thing. If I'd have known how much time the machine saves I'd have purchased one years ago. Case prep used to be my least favorite part of handloading but I now actually enjoy it. I can trim, chamfer/deburr, and clean the primer pockets on a hundred cases in about 20 minutes and my fingers don't hurt when I am done. I read all of the reviews prior to buying and was worried about the comments on the included steel trimmer heads but after actually using them for a couple of months I'm not sure what all of the fuss was about. I have found them to work just fine. I did replace the primer pocket cleaning tool with the RCBS version but that is my only upgrade.
