Lucked out, myself. Got an 8-pounder from the previous lot and haven't used any yet. Still, this is causing me to re-evaluate my usual practice of blending the remnants of my previous lots of a powder with new incoming lots of the same powder. It hasn't ever been an issue to this point, but it was close this time. I might just sit tight on a new lot for a while from now on to see if something like this comes up, then blend it.
I could not recall where I bought my latest jug of Hunter but I was reminded just now. I got an email from Widener's reminding me that I had purchased some Hunter from them last November. Very proactive and responsible on their part. I am impressed.
Back in the early 2000's Alliant RL22 had the same problems, it raised pressures to around 89000 cup, I had quite a few pounds of this powder and they replaced asap. They told me to use what I had in that lot number for fertilizer. Only Ramshot powder I use is Big Game so I'm good.
