wondering if this was a good call...got the option to buy for $1K here...30 rd mag...but only going to use as a coyote gun really...just had my 110 savage 22-250 stolen...reload but never 223 so Not sure if i should bother with this gun????

I would (and did). Great rifle, great shooter, lots of fun, and maybe not available in the not-too-distant future.

I have a 24 inch Bull Barrel 5.56/.223 AR and think it is the best rifle in my cabinet. The thing drives tacks at 200 yards. I have 1 in 8 twist and it loves 50 Gr Z-Max. I reload using WC-842 surplus powder. This rifle will knock a coyote on his butt. $1000 is on the very high side. I bought my upper from J&T Distributing. Google them and do a price comparison.
