Anybody tried this combo? If so,how were the results?
Yes. So so. 19 and 22 gave better speeds and accuracy for me.
Thanks,I've got '22 will pick up some '19.What kind of speed are you getting?
22" tube. 3300+ with 80's. Accuracy at 3250. RL 19.
Good luck finding any 19 I've been looking for a month
Thanks Greg.Dan, maybe have to do a little horse trading for some!
Been shooting the 22-250AI for many years, for whatever reason I have always had better luck with the Berger 80grVLD than the 75gr A-Max in this cartridge.
My current barrel loves RL19 but have had good luck with IMR4831 in previous barrels.
I'm running moly'ed 62gr TTSX over r15 out of mine
Last week in 10 degree weather
Thanks Boat.I will try them if the Amax doesn't shoot.Dan I have plenty of '15 and TTSX's for deer and hogs.Looking to use Amax's for pdog's and steel.Still waiting on Pacnor.Should be any day now! What speed are you getting with the 62?
3650 fps and I could push it harder if needed but I don't
22" tube. 3300+ with 80's. Accuracy at 3250. RL 19.
Damn dude! Never tried anything but 15 but I might have to burn some 19 this spring.

If you are waiting on Pacnor DON'T get the 3 groove with this combo, get a 5 or 6 groove
Too late. Why do you say that? I've had real good luck with 3 grooves.
With this combo 22-250AI,75grA-Max and 3 groove PacNor you will never make it to the 500 round mark before you start getting bullet blow-up. I have seen it in 3 different barrels mine my nephews and my friends.
The 3 groove works awesome in a smaller case capacity like say a 223AI, but the larger the case capacity and the faster the twist the worse the 3 groove becomes. somewhere between 200 and 500 rounds you will be searching for a more stout bullet.
Well damn, guess it will be a ttsx gun after that.
