In the 20 Tactical?

Yes 20 tactical..

I'm jealous.

Well, I don't see why it wouldn't be good, but given that's a relatively heavy bullet, if you can stand the granule stacking, Varget might be a hair better. When I worked the 39 and 32 Sierras in the 204 Ruger, the 39s liked Varget just a bit more and the 32s liked H4895.
But the difference is kind of like -- what do you HAVE?

I have varget also among other suitable powders...I just can't find any data for the 20 tac with the 45 gr bullets.. I need a coyote load....

Well, it's a wildcat...what did you expect?
See if you can find 204 Ruger data, see if you can find ANY 20 tactical for the same bullets, get out your calculator and take some notes on the percentage difference between whatever 204 and Tactical loads you can find. That will help you extrapolate what is going to be voodoo juju.
At least you should be able to get some idea of a targeted muzzle velocity. If you are getting "impossible" velocity, yep, something's wrong.
Don't forget to sniff around 20 PRACTICAL, see what THOSE numbers might indicate.
I guess that's the pain, and the pleasure of wildcatting, all the guesswork and thinking.

I own a 20 Tactical....data's scarce...

I just use 204 data, on the starting side.. and that seems to work just fine... if you are uncomfortable with that, just start a little lower than that and work up...

yeah, its not really rocket science...

Why 45gr? Long distance?

I've shot only one coyote with my Tac20. It was at 125yds
using Hornady's first .204 pill, the 33gr V-max over 24gr
H4198. She just fell over....didn't even kick...not once. The
bullet began fragmenting soon as it got into the lungs,
destroyed the diaphragm, and shredded the frontal lobe of
the liver. Nothing exited. A co-worker has experienced the
same results to 300-350yds with a 20 VarTarg using 32gr pills.

All 20 cal bullets I have tried have not preformed well unless you get a perfict broadside shot...when calling that's usually the leas available shot..usually it's either a chest shot coming in or azz shot going away...
My son really likes his 20 tax and wants to use it calling but he wants a bullet that performs better...I prefer 223 and 53 gr tsx
