Has anyone tried N133 in the 17 Rem with Berger 25 gr Match Bullets?
Bea175: I have three Varmint Rifles in caliber 17 Remington - they all prefer the wonderful Berger 25 grain bullets.
Two of them prefer good old H 4895 and the third likes IMR 4320.
I do have some N 133 that I use in my Sako 6m/m PPC - have you heard something "good" about the N 133 in the 17 Remington?
I sure like that powder but it IS expensive and hard to find in my neck of the woods.
IF... you are looking for a powder for the 17 Remington be sure and try H 4895.
I have a kind of rare 26" barrel Remington 700 stainless Varminter (VSS) in 17 Remington and it shoots extremely well with that H 4895 powder.
My best group (5 shots at 100 yards) to date with this Rifle measured .241"!
Good luck gathering info.

I just loaded up 20 rounds to try with the Berger 25 gr and H322 21.8 gr. I'm going to try BLC-2 and Hod 4895 if the H322 doesn't shoot. I presently use Rel 15 and the Berger 25 gr. Just trying new loads to have something to do.
Bea175: Good luck - and be sure to try the H 4895 during your worthy "something to do" efforts.

In my Rem 700 .17 Remington, Varget and W760 have always provided good accuracy with velocity between 3900fps - 4000pfs when using 25gn bullets
I shoot bullet holes with H414 and 25 gr. Renington bullet
