I bought a bunch of this Hornady 35 vmax factory ammo to fire form in my k-hornet. The ammo works great.....my problem is reloading it. The factory brass has a super small flash hole, during sizing/decapping the decapping pin sticks in the hole or gets bent. Anyone have an easy solution....... Don't really want to have to drill 300 + flash holes. Anyone know of a smaller diameter decapping assembly?
I've used small trim nails as decapping pins in the past. The nails are not hardened so they bend easier, but, they are cheap.
Drimmel in front of the TV....

or get a universal decapping die... it has a harden decapping pin... I've used it to knock out some small primer holes...

not an issue... prefer the Drimmel myself... once and done... and you know what you've got..
A 6br decapping pin might work. They are turned smaller than normal. Whidden sells them I'm pretty sure. Probably others as well.
While all of the above is sound advice I think I would ream the flash holes. Do it once and you are done.
