Anybody have loading data for 2-1/2" 410 with W-W 321 powder?
Looking for a load to use in 45-70 cases that will take up less space than the 2400 I'm using now. (more room for shot)
Thanks!

W-W 231 powder right?

I think 410 data with W-W 231 may not be available as 231 was devloped as a pistol powder. I have 4 of the older Winchester free reloading pamphlets and have gone through them plus a couple of other sources and nothing for 410 data with 231. Looking at the powders listed for 410's I suspect 231 may be to fast burning to be viable in that application for shotguns.

Agreed QB Dave! Using WW231 in trying to make .410 shotshells or "derived .45/70 shotshells" sounds like a good way to have a bad accident.

OK
I was looking for some data with a faster burn rate powder than 2400. I'm NOT going to experiment without printed data.
Thanks for looking!
