Where can I purchase 10 ga. paper hulls? Also need OAL of 2 3/4 and 2 7/8 hulls before roll crimping. Any load data would also be appreciated.
Thanks Skip
I don't have ready answers to any of your questions. As far as I know, no one is making 10 ga hulls in paper anymore. Of course, I could be wrong since I don't keep up with that area currently. For the rest of your questions, go to www.ballisticproducts.com and check it out and give them a call. They know more than almost anyone else about shotshell reloading.

I can probably go to some of the old (and I mean OLD)shotshell reloading manuals and find some loads for you but I'll need to know what powder you want to use, wads, etc.
Thanks for the info. Press and dies are on order. Loading 22 gr. of 700X behind a plastic shot collumn and 1 3/8 oz. of shot. Makes one heck of a woodcock gun, don`t you think?
Bunnyrunner:

I haven't looked at them for a long while, but I've got quite a few (at least a 1000) Rem 10 ga plastic wads, I think, but am not certain at this remove, that they may have been for the shorter 2 7/8 hulls. If you want them for the freight, let me know. May take me a while to dig them out.

Also a bunch of the "slit them yourself" 10 ga BP wads, for when 2 ounces plus of grexed lead was THE KING in waterfowl loads. Same deal, free if you pay the freight. Shot quite a few of them out of that old Ithaca mag 10. Deadly.

Would be a bit of work, but they could certainly be trimmed down to fit any length hull you wanted to use.
