I want to use up some old Winchester powders I have. Loads I would like to create would be 1.25 oz 12 gauge loads or 1 oz 20 gauge loads. I loaded a lot many years ago and have the following powders left that I would like to use up.
super-target AA WST1
and a little: 473AA, 571 & 785.

Loading data for any of the above listed Winchester powders would be appreciated.
It will likely take some old books since these powders haven't been manufactured in some years. Thanks for any help you can provide.
WST 1 is plain old WST or Winchester Super Target, the 1 just means it was a 1 lb container, I have a 3 lb can on the shelf that is WST3. WST is suitable for 1 or 1 1/8 oz 12 gauge loads, also works well for 9mm and 38 special loads

Load data for Hodgdon HS-7 is the same as 571, they are the same powder made at the same plant. Hodgdon even posted that information at one time. 571 is great for 1 1/4 oz 12 gauge loads and for 1 oz 20 gauge loads. Hodgdon has data on there site.

785 is a magnum rifle powder

bluedot, Thanks for the info. That is very helpful.
473 was a good 20 ga powder, tho' best for 7/8oz loads. 17.5-18grains was the typical recipe.
785 was a great powder in things like the 270 Winchester & 6mm Remington. They have not done a very good job of duplicating it in the 3 or 4 replacement "models" introduced since its discontinuance.
I have a copy of the 1981 "Winchester Ball Poweder Loading Data" publication. I think it predates the WST, but has the other powders you listed. I don't think most of the shotgun hulls it lists are still available except the AA. If you're still looking for this data, let me know and we'll figure a way to get the pertinent parts to you.

Bluedot said nothing to argue with! just find some older shotshell reloaidng manuals if not data for WW571 / Hodgdon HS-7. And like someone else said WW473 was a 20 gauge powder for 7/8oz loads.
