In rereading my post about the Winchester hulls I found that I missed a couple of you guys who wanted some. I'm sorry I didn't get them to everyone who wanted some. My bad.

Glad you got them back in circulation. They do make nice loads. I just received almost 1000 Win AA's and some other components from the mid 70's. They loaded great and the 40 year old Red Dot worked fine.

I'm starting to warm up to the new AA's. Still prefer Rem CF hulls. It seems that Winchester addressed the base wad issue and more shooters are trusting them. With the recent rumors about Rem getting out or trimming down their target ammo offerings reloaders might have turn more towards the AA's.

A quick note about the new and old AA's ; although manufactures data is the same the fit can be different. I loaded a few hundred CF hulls then switched to new ones. Using a DR XL1 wad fit was great in the old hulls, pretty tight in the new. The wad would also occasionally get hung up on the leading edge of the new hulls base wad. My understanding is the DRA series of wads address both these issues.
I just finished boxing up nine bags of wads(Win.,Rem., and some old Pacific) that I'm sending to a member. He asked about empty shell boxes and I gathered some of those too.

I was surprised to find how many Remington shells with the compresson hull I had shot. Visually they looked like the Winchesters but I don't recall ever reloading them.
