Unless you're set on the genuine Tyler article, have a look at BK grips which are pretty much identical, cost $32.90 ($25 plus shipping) and are readily available. I've ordered two, one J-frame and one K-frame, and both fit very well. They both arrived within 4-5 days of being ordered. Only drawback from your post is they don't come in an aluminum finish, only black and ivory.

I got screwed by Tyler earlier this year. Sure they take your money, cash your check then you wait. and wait, and wait when a package finally did show up three months later it only had one adaptor, not the two I ordered and paid for. No answer to phone calls, the have no email. No response, I was just screwed!!

BK didn't have any black when I ordered so they sent an ugly cream color (Why cream color???) that I did not want. Too much hassle to return.

Three months is a short wait for Tyler, a year is more like normal.
