I'd recommend avoiding the autos. Or at least the marlin autos. I had one blow up on me, and when I called marlin to ask wtf, they said "oh yeah those kept blowing up so we quit making them". That is a fine little cartridge, but I'd recommend sticking to bolt rifles in it.
I had a 452 in Mach2 and sold it (mistake!). I bought a Volquartsen Summit last year and it's a ground squirrel killing machine out to 75 yards. Maybe 100.
