I have an older set of 8x20 Trinovids that are similarly sized. They fit up in the overhead sunglass holder thingy in my pickup. I'm never without a set of binocs, they're not out in the open for people to see/steal, and they're always close at hand.

They also make a good spare set for people who don't bring their own glass, saves me from having to slap their fingers when they reach for mine.........

These are the later compacts than the Trinovid and noticeably better..

Free bump, have owned a pair for a while now and they are great.
I compared them with the best Swaro and Zeiss before buying and the Leica were the best for my eyes.
