Chambered in 338-06 from factory or is it re-barreled? If so any idea of what the barrel is? 6 lug bolt?

Johnymac, I am the second owner, I believe it is factory barrelled because the printing font on the barrel is identical to other 338-06. I am not sure of the barrel material.

How does it shoot the Barnes 185’s? Fee bump. I must resist, must resist.

I only shot 3 rounds before Covid. I do not remember the specifics but I was very happy with it.

If I didn’t already have a 35 Whelen I’d be on this like a hobo on a ham sandwich. I paid a grand for the Shilen barrel on mine.
