Gents,

My hunt for a 243 to be a kid's rifle isn't making much headway, so widening the net a bit. If you've got a 30-30 lever gun in decent/working shape (but as with the 243, not looking for a showpiece or to drop tons of money on a rifle that will be used and abused by a succession of 3 kids) please shoot me a PM. Interested in prices including shipping from an FFL if it can't go C&R directly to me.

Thanks y'all.

If you have some AR lowers, you can pick up an inexpensive complete upper in a 7.62x39. Cheap ammo. I have a couple I use for hogs that I got from Bear Creek Arsenal that I’ve had good luck with. About the same ballistics as 30-30. Less kick in a semi auto platform. If you don’t like that round then 6.5 Grendel or 6.8 SPC.
I have a new Rossi 30-30?

I have a Tikka in 7-08 I would sell. It is a smaller rifle with 19" bbl. Outhoots my Kimber 7-08s. It is light and really handy to carry and shoot. My only ding on it is the stock is a little slick.
