Looking for some once fired .300 Savage brass to use to develop loads.
Good luck finding .300 Savage brass.

You might try reforming some .308 Winchester. Easier to find and reform running thru a .300 Savage resize die and trimming.

That’s what a friend of mine did. If I remember right he used a Redding .300 savage trim die after reforming. He used Winchester cases he had that had the highest capacity as the bullet he wanted to use was long and he wanted to minimize any compressed loads.

Haven’t seen .300 savage brass for sale in a long time.
Thank you. Have .300 Savage die set and plenty of .308 brass. Will give it a shot.
I picked up a 2" mini cut-off saw from Harbor Freight (~$30) and was able to trim within .020" or so to save time on the hand trimmer. The cost of the saw and a box of new .308 brass was less than the box of .300 Savage brass I initially purchased.
I have some , let me check it out and I will P.M. you.
