One of the Classic production calibers I had and regret selling. Mine shot as good as a 700 VS and a lot of the early ones had nice wood and super bluing.

Very true. I think if it were relisted again about the time people are getting tax returns it might be better. Regardless it's an excellent rifle at a good price and there may not be any more Model 700s built again.
