Hoping to find a reasonably priced CZ527 in 221 fireball for a build. Anyone have one, or a line on one that is available?

What's your definition of "reasonably priced"?

Just wanted to let you know that a CZ527 221 Fireball feeds perfectly from a CZ 527 223 magazine.

14-1500 range is just too much i spent just a little more and got a kimber of Oregon
And yes I have built several 221s and 20 VT on a cz223 action they seem to work pretty darn good

May have to give that a try 1st. I do have a 223 in a kevlar stock, that I have used very little. That may become the donor for a 20 VarTarg.

I have ran some .20 Vartarg through my CZ 527 .223 mag and bottom metal but on my Howa Mini action. It fed ok and could probably feed good with some tweaking of the mag lips. Hoping it feeds perfectly in your 527. CZ 527 .221 Mags are hard to come by these days.

I can imagine the controlled round feed may allow the CZ to be more forgiving.

FWIW: Jefferson Outdoors makes a .221 FB floorplate, and also bottom metal that accepts CZ .221 magazines, to fit Howa Mini-Actions.

My CZ 527 .221 is one of the last firearms I'd ever owed with.

Apparently this was reasonable enough for someone. Was not what I had in mind in terms of pricing.

Though the nice clean 223 American with 3 mags at $875 TYD was what i would consider reasonable in todays market.
