Another one from FIL'S collection. Sporterized Japanese Arisaka 7.7 mm Mauser. Crack at rear of receiver right side of stock behind bolt appears to have been pinned / repaired. Polygonal rifling looks very good. Let me know if I missed a picture of something needed. $375 shipped, AK and HI extra.

Cool rifle I have one my grandfather had built , mannilicher stock , custom trigger nice Leupold scope. I killed one deer with it and it now resides in my gun cabinet but one of my grandfather’s friends was a well know gunsmith and said if he could only have one rifle for the rest of his life and it could never be repaired it would be a 7.7 arisaka that’s how bullet proof he said they are.

I actually love the cartridge.
Very little recoil and packs a pretty decent punch.
Great eastern whitetail cartridge.
