Model 840 bolt action Savage rifle chambered in 30-30. Shows finish loss and handling marks overall. This was a neighbor’s deer rifle when he first started hunting. Hasn’t been shot much in almost 3 decades.

Date of manufacture is between 1960 and 1964 so C&R eligible.

But the left side of the receiver is tapped for a weaver style scope mount.

Have a few and they both shoot great. No scopes just woods guns. Grandsons' hunt with them.
