Made in 1966 and chambered in 243. In good condition, bluing is all there, trigger is crisp. Couple small scratches in stock, shown in photos. The worst is on bottom right next to the floorplate. Letting this one go so I can chase another rifle. The usual dilemma...

Nice rifle, I had one of these and sold it, mine did not come with a butt pad, is this OEM? Mine was a great shooter, groundhog murderer.
I've got pretty much the same rifle. Mine is made in 1965. Shoots 95 gr Nosler ballistic tips or SSTs into small groups and hammers deer. GLWS
I'll run a bore scope down it tomorrow, judging by the overall condition, I expect it to look nearly new.
There's a little copper fouling, I'll give it a thorough scrubbing. The throat and rifling look great, no alligator skin or signs of burnout.
Meant to thank you for checking the rifling, just got busy with other stuff. Thanks!

I had the first one that ever came into the midwest according to the dealer I bought it from. The first stock cracked at the forearm because they were really free floated and thin up by the tip. I sent it back and got another stock and my best 5 shot group in prone position was 5/16 at a 100 yds. I killed a ton of Fox and some coyotes with it. In 65 I shot a 42 pound coyote with it. The average coyote weighs about 28 lbs.

A good rifle for not a lot of money. Better than what you can buy these days at that price point, but then again, it's not flat black and plastic.
I'll take this. PM incoming.
