What happened to the rest of the vertical reticle? It looks like the very bottom of it is fading (?) away.
Is the reticle fine duplex? Is the vertical line below the main reticle that appears thinner a camera angle fluke? Thanks
The reticle is fine. It’s how the camera took the picture.
Here is the reticle.
I’ve never seen a gloss 30mm Leupold scope or that reticle! Cool !
I'm fairly certain there's a difference between a VX3 and a VX-III.
Yep, typo. I meant $110. My bad.
It’s not mine. But my buddy has good stuff.
It’s a custom shop VX III gloss. The one on GB is $1200.
It’s $1100
I've got one and it's one of my favorites.
Hold overs not over bearing, reticle is gold-ish colored like the VX-7 and stands out well against a dark background.
Fair price, GLWS.
New! Leupold Wide Duplex RE Reticle
The Wide Duplex Range Estimating (RE) reticle was designed to provide a more open center with the pickets farther apart to allow more unobstructed target viewing area. Since this open space is not the right size for range estimating, a new feature is incorporated in VX-III models with the Wide Duplex reticle to provide a range estimating function. A ranging bracket is located on the lower Duplex picket where a thinned down section provides a notch. To estimate range using the Leupold Wide Duplex RE reticle, place an animal or object of approximately 16" in height in the ranging bracket and turn the power selector until it just fits into this space. After the target is bracketed in this notch, read the numbers on the rear of the power selector ring to get an estimate of the range. 3 corresponds with 300 yards, 5 with 500 yards, etc. The range estimator is available in the following VX-III Wide Duplex models:
1.75-6x32mm, 2.5-8x36mm, 3.5-10x40mm, 3.5-10x50mm, 4.5-14x40mm, 4.5-14x50mm.
Without sounding negative, you'll have much better luck on feebay.
Don't believe this is the market you're seeking
