Yeah and the service hasn’t gotten any better. I just paid almost $10 to have a letter sent Priority Mail and it got lost for 3 days. Took a total of 5 days to be delivered.

This can only stop when they stop printing money and spending, they need to balance the budget which they will not.

Simple , stop using USPS for delivering mail and shipping items .Throw it in your car and deliver them your self . Problem solved .

I've been working up the numbers to send a letter to my representatives.
Here's what I've come up with so far this month.
I've received 74 pieces of letter type mail. Of that 74, 41 are from non-profits.
While most don't have any indication of the postage the ones that do range from .11 to .13 per letter.
I appreciate that bulk mailing is less expensive but I'm paying .68 to mail a letter. That's a pretty dramatic break to the non-profits.
Seems to my that the postage that regular people pay is subsidizing the non-profits.

Yep! Last week mailed a range-finding binocular to the manufacturer's repair facility--which is almost 2000 miles east of here. They advised using Fedex or UPS, but have had bad experiences with both locally, plus using them requires a 70-mile round-trip. So I took a chance and used Pirate Ship. It showed up there three days later, a day BEFORE predicted when I dropped it off at our local PO.

It keeps going up..

The local PO has a real nice lady that works the counter, has helped me a bunch..

Ship something, gives me a total. And Ill laugh, say thats cheaper than I can take it myself.. she laughs. Good times.
