For sale Kimber 84L Mountain Ascent 280 Ack Imp. 24" fluted barrel with factory muzzle brake, weighs 5lbs 4 3/4 Oz's, 13.75" LOP. It will include factory box, new Talley matching lightweight rings, a two-die full length Redding die set, 17 round of Nosler 140 gr AccuBond ammo, 3 pieces of once fired Nosler brass, 100 pieces new Nosler 280 Ack Imp brass, and 20 pieces of federal fire formed brass. It's been fired less than 50 times. It shot around 1" to 1.5" when fire forming the federal brass, and the three 140 grain Nosler were about 1.25". It was never hunted. Selling as a package for $1750 plus $50 for shipping.

I have the exact same rifle, its a joy to carry and shoot. Mine holds sub MOA out past 400 yards with the 160 AB and H-4350. Again a joy in the woods and a great shooter.

I recently went with a Weatherby in 280 AI and it is nice but I would have preferred your Kimber. That is a great hunting rifle. Good luck.

The 280AI is a great cartridge, one of P, O. Ackley’s best. I have the round in kimber montana, predecessor of the mountain elite, they are really nice guns. This is a great file at more than fair price with all the components. Good luck on the sale, somebody is going to get a gem of a hunting rifle.

What is the barrel length with the muzzle brake? Did they come with a threaded cap if the brake is removed?

Barrel length is just under 24", kimber calls it a 24" barrel, with muzzle brake on it's just under 25 1/2". Yes it does have a threaded cap when brake is removed.
