I've seen the pics. Definitely not a giveaway scope. Pics I saw showed no imperfections. A great scope for a pristine large caliber rifle. $300 strong! $200 won't buy much of any scope new nowadays. This one is gloss and one of the strongest scopes Leupold manufacturered
