FS: Win 70 push feed action built into a 6-06. "ADL style" with blind mag. Barrel is SS Pac-Nor in a Ruger #1 contour with flutes. Blued action, SS barrel 26" long. Stock painted green / black. Weaver bases / rings. Burris FFII 4.5-14x40 scope with Ballistic Plex reticle. Screamer of a long range gun, but I don't have a place to use the horsepower. Less than 150 rounds fired.

Chambered by a local smith who does a lot of PD shooting and loves the various 6's. If it's like the rest of his rifles I've seen / owned it will definitely be a shooter. Trigger job done - crips and right around 3 pounds pull weight.

Includes RCBS 6mm-06 dies / shell holder as well so you're all set to go. Have formed 25-06 brass to throw in plus some 75 V-max, 80 BT, and 95 BT (all partial boxes).

Have about $1200 invested - looking for $775 plus shipping from my FFL to yours for the scope, rifle, brass, bullets, and dies.

Rifle shoots 75 V-max well and 80 BT even better (best group 0.182" for 3 at 100 yds). Just loaded some 95 BT's but haven't shot yet.

Some basic measurements (approximate):

- .600" at muzzle
- .890" at front of scope bell
- 1.2" shank diameter
- approx 2" of shank exposed

Pics attached.

Do you happen to know the twist? Also, does it feed well from the magazine? And what does it weigh?

Screamin' deal! If only I didn't have to pay the mortgage this month!
Nice rifle. Shouldn't last long........

Yep:

- 1-10" twist

- Feeds perfectly from the mag (probably helps that it was a .270 originally).
- Trigger was professionally done by my smith. Great job, but lighter than I like. It is very crisp and about 3 pounds (perhaps a touch under). I am so used to heavier triggers that I actually prefer them a bit heavier for field work (3-4 pounds).

Hope that helps.

Couesdeer -

Thanks for the kind words. I hate to sell such a shooter but I could better utilize more of a walking varminter in a smaller caliber. It should make someone a really nice deer / yote rifle. It was a fun build.

tominboise - sorry I didn't see your question about weight when I posted. Haven't specifically weighed it with scope and sling in place, but I'd put it around or just slightly over 9 pounds. Hope that helps.

BTW - to answer a seemingly common question from PM's - I am primarily looking for a sale and not a trade at this time. I will listen to reasonable purchase offers, though. grin

I'd like to see someone put this to good use.

Sorry - meant to say $775 SHIPPED. Would have sold it to the original buyer at that price so no reason I wouldn't make that available to all.

I'm a bit baffled myself. I thought this was priced effectively to move considering everything that's included. Thanks for the kind words, though.

4 a nice rifle and a good guy and a good round!

Dober
Dober - thanks for the kind words and the bump.

Appears a trade I was trying to work out has collapsed so TTT this goes.

Any interest out there in a very accurate long range yote killing machine?
Posted By: stanimal Long Range Yote Blaster - 10/22/08
Still looking for a good home for this rifle. Think long range yotes or a beanfield deer rifle with very light recoil.

$750 shipped for all this stuff (rifle, scope, dies, brass, bullets) is a pretty solid deal.

I'll take it.

Pm sent
