Custom Encore 6.5x284 - 03/07/09
Well, I'd decided to sell my Encore. Kinda hate to do it, but I just don't shoot the thompsons anymore. This one has been a favorite for quite a while, but I wanna buy somethin' different so figured I'd turn this one over.
6.5x284 23" stainless Bullberry Barrel Hand fitted by Fred Smith.
Hanger bar bracket for free floated forend.
customized frame with reinforced hammer, professional trigger job, Bellm Hinge pin, bellm hammer spring Bellm aluminum Hammer extension.
Beautiful Bullberry English Walnut Stockset.
Virgin Valley 6 screw base and leupold rings.
Scope not included.
Also included are the original pistol grip and forend (It was orignally a 7MM-08 pistol).
and I'll see if I can't find 50 rounds of brass to go with it.
This rifle has only had about 60 rounds fired thru it and is an excellent shooter. I've taken 3 deer with it and it hammers 'em. It's in very good shape with a few minor scratches in the stock but nothing major. I'm just into bolt rifles these days and haven't shot it in about 3 years.
