It truly, truly pains me to list this scope. I'd love to keep it but I'm stretching my luck with the wife as it is. I purchased this scope for a hunting rifle and my need to go more tactical with a higher magnification is the only driving force to list this scope.
Alas, for sale is a Schmidt Bender Klassik 3-12x42 Precision Hunter Series with the P3 Mil-dot reticle. There is only a slight mark on the right side of the scope or this would pass a New In The Box. No ring marks and the glass is superb.
If your not familiar with the Precision Hunter series, the elevation knob is equipped with a bullet drop compensator. With the rifle zeroed to your preferred distance (200yds for example), the knob is set at 0 on the dial. While at the range, I count the number of clicks to get to 300, 400, 500 and so on for a particular load and record this. I keep the chart handy when hunting. If simplicity, this information can be given to Schmidt Bender and they will cut a custom ring for you.
Also, the reticle is in the first focal plane on this scope. I was a bit skeptical on long range shots but as you can see by the picture, the reticle is still fine enough for those long range shots.
If you look on-line, you will find Bear Basin, SWFA and EuroOptics rock solid of $2386+ for this very same scope. My price is very firm at $1780 shipped/insured to your address. I can not take trades at this time, thank you.
