Hi Folks, Does anyone know where to get plain wooden ammo boxes? By that I mean the ones that used to be common, about 18"x12"x12" or so? Usually they had impressed, painted, or woodburned "Winchester", "Remington", or scenes of ducks or deer. They had a hinged top with hasp and dovetailed edges. I'd like one or two plain wood ones. They used to be everywhere, but when you look for them, they seem to be gone. Best wishes and many thanks, Marc

Hornady used to offer some for about $25 (not hinged though), don't know if they still do or not, they were sized to carry 10 boxes of ammo such as the .458 Win Mag. Lock, Stock, & Barrel used to carry them, might try contacting them.

Check the Czech surplus ammunition boxes. I have one in my car. But you are not getting it. Just giving advice.
