I really hate to do this, but the shortfall in my income due to my deployment with the National Guard is finally catching up with me. I am home on R&R for the next week and would like to sell a couple of rifles.

1. VZ 24 action, barrel marked 35 Whelen. I bought this as a project, but have never shot it. It does not feed well from the right side. It does have a nice piece of wood, but the inletting is amateurish at best. The stock is full length bedded and the action is in pristine condition, including the crest. The action has not been drilled or tapped and it has a trap door in the stock for four shells. I would like to get $350.

2. CZ Model # Stainless steel and walnut. The rifle comes with Leupold rings and Leupold VXIII 3.5-10 x 40mm scope in gun metal gray. The rifle has been bedded and does have several small marks on the wood. The largest one is under the front sling swivel and near the floor plate. The scope has two small scratches on the tube, but you can't feel them, they seem to be under the finish? The barrel also has a few small marks on it. I would like to get $800 for this rifle.

I have tried to show all the marks or scuffs in the photos, and I will include shipping in the price if you will accept shipping from a non FFL. If not then I will charge $25 per rifle.
PM sent on the vz-24.
That VZ is a nice looking rifle. If only my wife didnt like spending money more than I.......
If the VZ24 is still avaiable I will take it if it is $350 shipped
Guys, I have sent this member several PM's saying I will take the VZ-24. Unfortunately, I think he is deployed right now as he hasn't been able to get back to me. I know the last time I talked to him he was getting ready to leave. I think we need to keep this gentleman, as well as all of our soldiers, in our prayers.
I just got my Soldier back from affgananam and ill second that.He will post when he gets time.
Hi,
My son's deploying next month, too.
The .35 Whelan is what caught my eye, and I can buy it if the barrel has a twist of 12" (probably does, as these full stock rifles were made for 200+ grain loads) AND the headspace within safe tolerances. If it's not feeding from one side, what do you think it'll take to correct this?

Be safe.

Look at the date this was listed.
Didn't make that out. Thought a deal had fallen through in '10.
Will keep looking.
