Savage 99 Marbled English Walnut Stock Blank - 09/14/10
This is a stock in rough for Savage 99, carved from east cost English walnut tree that was cut 12 years ago. The wood is perfect, free of check, voids, cracks etc. Very dense, close grain. Visually is is eye candy. Beautiful dark honey main color and marbled pattern all around. I find this to be vastly superior to Claro walnut. This would make one heck of rifle. $275 shipped.
