WANT TO BUY: Gun stock compass, these were small compasses that were commonly inletted into gun stocks, they were popular in the '50's. I believe they were made by Polychoke.

I had one in a Savage 99 that I really liked.

They were made very well IMO.

Go on e-bay...type in mini-compass under sporting goods...

a million of them are listed....

Marbles also made compasses for rifle stocks...There are a few listed on e-bay now....listed under vintage compass....
