In a bid to keep my Savage 99 I am going to sell this scope instead.
Custom shop Leupold VX-III 1.5-5x20mm with silver finish and German#4 reticle. It is in as new condition, but no box. I am including with the sale a silver finish Warne one piece base that fits Marlin 336/1895/1894 etc and stainless Weaver low 1" rings. This would be the perfect scope for your Marlin stainless guide gun, 30-30 or 44 Mag etc. The German#4 is a superior reticle for woods or close cover hunting and shows up very well in very low light conditions. I have had it mounted on a Marlin 336SS 30-30, and it makes for a very good looking combination. The base model scope alone is $399 online, and the custom features would cost another $100-150. The base and rings would cost you another $30-40.
