It's a rarer rifle for sure but VERY far from the rarest M70 ever produced!
Nice rifle!

Prewar m70 in 9mm Mauser for one.
7.65, 35 Remington, 300 Savage standard rifles. Carbines in 22 Hornet, 257Roberts, 250/3000, 9mm, 7mm. Super Grade Featherweights in, I believe all calibers. 375 H&H with a standard barrel. The list could go on for a long time as Winchester made a lot of goofy and rare guns in their time.
Please don't take this as a slam against your rifle as they are indeed quite rare. I remember a couple years ago a guy on one of the auction sites selling an entire collection of M70 Mannlichers. This guy had like 50 of them! HE also had spare stocks, barrels, etc. Sometimes it's weird how people hoard stuff!
Bump for a very nice rifle.
Price drop to $1400 FIRM
BTW, thanks for all the input and if I could edit the original post to say " One of the rarest Model 70's ever" I would
