I have an early 1970's Ithaca Model 600 O/U 20-gauge, 3" chamber, fixed choke Improved/Modified, 26" bbls. On left side it says, "Ithaca Gun Co., Ithaca NY Made in Japan Roto-forged". On right side, "Custom crafted for Ithaca by SKB". This shotgun fits me just like my Weatherby SKB made Orion, and Athena.

This shotgun is a shooter, not a museum piece. While the wood is beautiful, looks to be Claro Walnut to me, it has numerous small dings and scratches. Bluing is good, but far from flawless. There are places that the bluing is thin and rough. Like I said, this is a shooter, not a safe potato.

I now have a three O/U's, and the wife thinks two is enough. So I am not interested in trades, but need to pay for some recent expenditures.

I need $650 shipped in the lower 48. CA,AK,HI, or must be from FFL slightly more.

Questions welcome.

How much does it weigh?
Bath scale, which isn't too precise, says 6 1/2 lbs.

I have a few O/U's and I would say definitely scaled to a 20-gauge, not a 12-gauge with 20-gauge bbl's.
Someone needs to snatch this up. If it had 28" barrels it would probably on the way to KY. I have a SKB 500, 28 gauge that has a magical way of shooting exactly where I look!

It would've already been on it's way here (and still might...).

I've got five SKB's. Like you say, they just "fit" me and shoot right where I'm looking.
