John Lloyd Stag Gunstock
This is a 4" closed slipjoint. It has a 3-1/4" blade measured tip to bolster,with a 3" cutting edge. Opened up it is 7-3/8". SS bolster & ss mill relived liners & pins. 52100 carbon blade & spring.The blade is ground thin,has a crescent nail nick & a nice swedge,very sharp slicer. It's got a satin hand rubbed finish on it,too. The amber stag is well matched,great looking & the knife tapers nicely from butt to bolster. Great mechanics & f&f. Spring is flush in all 3 half stop positions. No blade play. Blade centers perfect closed. Pull is about a 7 or 8,very firm,locks up great.Expect light scratches on the bolster from handling & you can see the pivot pin on the bolster. Un used knife

Trapper..

This one is a dynomite 3.5" closed knife,smaller,still a firm pull but a touch less than that gunstock above,call it a 6/7. Everything checks out great as the above gunstock,but it has some pepper spots on the tang & a patina area on the 52100 spring. Otherwise,a killer stag custom slipjoint.same as above on mechanics,etc. It has a 2-5/8" blade measured from tip to bolster with a 2-3/8" cutting edge.Opened up its 6.25". Double pulls,long pull & crescent. This one has a stockier blade,a little sturdy workhorse
