My Dad is selling his very good condition, mfg in late 1960's Ithaca SKB, gas operated semi-auto shotgun. 12 Gauge, 2 3/4" chamber with polished blue metal and walnut equipped with MOD choke vent ribbed barrel. Extra barrel is blue matte finished vent ribbed, FULL choke. $400.00 for package plus UPS.

That appears to be the earlier 900 which was recoil operated.

The gas models had a cup on the barrel like an 1100 or 391, and were named XL900.

We have a 20 like that in the family, very nice gun.

Broke it down today and looked - you are right - pure Browning A-5 design (without a hump). Thanks for the tip, this is a recoil operated shotgun and my Dad still wants to sell it.
