I am selling this for a buddy, he bought it new about 30yrs ago and is the original owner. Less than 60 rounds down the pipe and it shoots great. Cosmetically the barrel needs some touch-up work on the blueing and if there is any serious interest I will get more (better) pics. Stock is in excellent condition, and the engraving on the receiver is also in extremely good condition.
The .270 WBY mag is pretty hard to find for the Golden Eagle and many collectors are missing this caliber. Also, this gun has a pretty interesting history and is a quality built gun. The stock is gorgeous and it shoulders well.
The scope is an old Vari-X IIc 3-9x40 with clean glass and has been on this rifle for a LONG time.
