I've got that same model and cal. but my wood isn't near that nice

I ordered one 10+ years ago when Jerry's was discounting them.
Mine looks just like yours and I was amazed when I first saw it. It felt like hitting the lottery. To this day it is the finest rifle I own. Wood like that seems to be rare on them though - I've seen a 8-10 different Classics (mostly through photos), but until now I never saw one with wood anything like mine.

Some one is going to be buying an absolutely beautiful rifle.

I posted this gun for sale a while back and was surprised not to get an offer and then kind of glad I hadn't. It's just such a great gun. Now that there's been a flurry of interest and a couple of picture requests I'm undecided. I'm giving myself a couple of days to get off the fence and will post my decision here. If my decision is to sell, I will provide pictures in the order requested.

For those wondering, this fabulous piece of wood looks uniformly great side to side and end to end. The fiddle is tight and uniform throughout with no flaws or irregularities.

I am with family for Christmas and will return home on Wednesday. Any sale will be for cash only. Tough times call for tough decisions...
