Weather Mark V 30-06 Deluxe with amazing wood and unbelievable high gloss bluing. Two small hunting marks in the wood and I cannot find a mark in the bluing.... it is really really nice. Will come topped with a Redfield straight 4 with duplex crosshairs sitting in bueller rings and mounts. The only flaw to the rifle and it is minimal, the butt pad is a little chewed right around the edges....... that is me looking for something to complain about because it definitely does not detract from the rifle. must be shipped to an ffl from an individual, unless you are a resident of the great state of pennsylvania, whole setup $800 shipped to your ffl. Only getting rid of because I have 3 30-06s, 1 is a pre 64, and 1 is a savage my old man bought me.....that leaves the weatherby. will trade for odd calibers and preferably a 257 roberts, 25-06, 6.5x55, 25 wssm, or anything else you might think may intrigue me. Great price on a VERY pretty gun; shouldn't last long!

Hard to tell from the pics ... is that a six-lug or nine-lug MkV. I have seen two early MkV's chambered in 30-06 on nine-lug actions, this the reason I ask.

If it the numeric of things on the end of the bolt it is 9.

The lockiing area othe forward part of thr bolt, a 9 lug would have 3 series of 3 lugs, what is the barrel lenght

You've seen the rifle? ... the seller just verified it is a nine-lug. Either there weren't many of those made or the one's that were made rarely come up for sale. This is only the third one I've known about.

I have no horse in the race, just curious. Good buy raamw ... Is a rifle I would not mind carrying in the field.
