This is a Nikon Pre-Monarch 3x9x40 matte scope. Included with scope is box, lens covers and all paper work. This scope is in very good condition. There are no scratches in the lenses. The ring marks are not bad, I just wanted to make sure they were noted. They are there, about the same, on each side of the scope. The pictures above were the best I could show them in my photos. Thanks for looking.

I have the same scope in 2-7x32 and it has been very reliable on several different rifles.

Thanks for the comment. I've got 10 of these scopes in 4x, 2x7 and 3x9. They're on shotguns, muzzleloaders and centerfire rifles up to .338. None have ever broken or caused problems. I'm selling a couple of spare 3x9s to fund the purchase of a Leupold w/CDS for my .270.

I would hae been pissed off. Some tech probably cleaned it out and kept it.
I wouldnt trade 2 new phlips for 1 Japanese pre-Monarch.
This scope is VX-2 quality glass for prostaff money.
