I am selling my Husqvarna Model 4100 Lightweight in .30-06 US. I believe this rifle was manufactured in the late 1950's, maybe early 60's. When I bought this rifle it had a poor refinish done to the stock. I stripped it down to bare wood and applied a proper classic oil finish and re-cut the worn checkering (18 LPI). There was also a slight crack starting to form behind the tang, due to no relief. I relieved the wood there and pinned the wrist as a precautionary measure as the hair line crack was superficial (See Pics) The recoil lug area has been bedded. The butt plate, etc is original. Rear sight has a blank and there is a scratch on the barrel near the dovetail . Bottom metal is a 1 piece steel unit. The blue I believe is original, and looks as good underneath the stock. No rust. Anyway a nice classic lightweight rifle that needs to be hunted. Has spent too much time in my safe. Group was fired at 100 yds with an old 4X, so can shoot (like all the Husky's Ive owned). Weight on my fish scale was 7 lbs even with 4X scope, weaver mounts and leather sling. Sorry for the poor photos, I can get some outdoors upon request. $600 TYD from Non-FFL.

PM sent.
She is a beauty!!!
Sure is! I love those little small ring HVA rifles. They're a very nice compact package.

I wish my HVA 7X57 AI looked half as nice. cool cool
If I didn't have one I would be saying the magic words.

how is the trigger pull?
Thanks for all the kind words fellas.

Trigger pull is good for a Mauser type trigger. Its no timney, but it aint bad. I'd say 4-5 lbs with very little noticeable creep.
I love my old Nitro 9000 in this caliber.
I took my first deer with it & many more afterwards.

This is a sweet little rifle!

What's the barrel length?
I think its 20.5" but will verify when I get home.

3 day inspection period, if its not what you thought, send it back.
Very nice job on the stock, it looks great. I have two of the HVAs and both are great shooters too.

Where do you live? I need to come over and show you how to arrange your reloading bench! grin grin
My wife and coworkers have always razed me about being OCD with organization. You should see my shop at work smile
Just put a tape on the barrel, 20.5"
Nice checkering job. Fine looking rifle.
Bump for a fellow Husky lover!
Thanks for the kind words fellas.

Arghh.. Somebody buy this.. it's killing me!!

Ok.. question.. The small ring action, that's the 1894 type action? Or is it the 98 action.. I alway's get these mixed..

Thx.
MM
Husky calls it an improved mauser, similiar to a 98 but small ring (hence the lightweight). Receiver dimensions are almost the same as a 96 or swedish mauser, except for hole spacing on action bolts is the same as 98 I believe. These actions are sought after for building mountain type rifles.
SPF...Thanks all
Deal fell through on this, so back up for grabs. I'll include a set of vertical split rings. All you need is a scope.
$550 shipped priority mail insured.

I'll consider a trade for a like new bow (modern) + cash.

Anybody that passes this up and buys an '06 of another brand needs their azz kicked.
I have the exact model i bought from an old friend, it's a great gun. My first centerfire rifle, took it to the range for the first time and nailed 600 yard target without any issues.
Very nice rifle. Excellent deal on a classic..
