got any remintons to trade, rifles that is
I don't believe T/C ever made Maxi's for the .36 cal
I've got a .45 Seneca and a .45 Cherokee with EE grade "knock out" stock. I use to have an "inside contact" there until they pulled out of New Hampshire due to the Smith & Wesson purchase.
My Dad had a Seneca that had to go back after after T/C made them a Custom Shop only model. Once determined it need a replacement under warranty they replaced with the Custom Shop version which had a "High Lustre" blue barrel and select grade wood.
My younger brother got it after my Dad passed away.
Don't know for sure about the .36, but TC did make maxiballs and maxiball moulds for .32 caliber......
Sunday post football bump

I thought I had a maxiball mold for a 36, it might still be around here. I know i had/have a round ball mold.
Guys - welcome to the Campfire, this post is over a year old, the rifle has been listed as traded -as in gone, done deal, no more.
does anyone know where i can get one of these 36 cal senecas please contact me at
[email protected] or cal 717-567-3469 thanks jeremiah
A barrel may be easier to find that the entire gun in 36 cal.
The Seneca went to the Custom Shop only after it was taken out of production along with the Cherokee which was offered in 45,36, and 32 caliber.
I have one of each model in a .45 caliber.
As a side not if you want just a 36 caliber without a TC logo try contacting Green Mountain barrel in New Hampshire as they did a lot of work for TC and might have a reproduction available?
Up for the pre-Christmas crowd.
Doc
Love my 45 cal Seneca. Shot mediocre until I switched to real bp and dropped the pyrodex. Now she's a tack driver...kills deer too!
Standard BP and Maxi-Balls seem to always shoot and group the best out of all the TC sidelocks.
A friend of mine worked in their repair shop and told this bit of info but it never hurts to experiment.
Is this gun still for sale
