Great slug gun here. Arguably the most accurate pump slug gun ever made.

I bought this here a few months back and have no time to shoot it and just end up using a muzzleloader or handgun in slug states anyway. I mounted a 4x33 Leupy and fired 3 shots to get it on paper and then put it in the safe.

Previous owner said it was a MOA shooter w/ Hornady SST slugs.

Buying new from TarHunt or having an existing 870 done up like this is now pushing a grand!

Price: $650 shipped to your FFL (from nonFFL)

Description:
Receiver: Rem. 870 Express Magnum
Barrel: ER Shaw custom 12ga rifled barrel. Permanently fixed to reviver (as a rifle would be, milled, threaded etc) - giving it the utmost rigidity and accuracy.
Ported Barrel : Mitigates recoil and muzzle flip (nicely, I might add)
The gun was just returned from TarHunt where it had a trigger job and inspection. Also freshly Duracoated in matte black. Left side of receiver has 3 small professionally filled mounting holes - also Duracoated over and unnoticeable.
Leupold rings and bases are included.

Good price on a great gun.
What's the barrel length and is the stock coated wood? Any trades needed?
Thanks
Will check barrel length in a bit. Stock is synthetic
What were the mounting holes in reciever for?, and where were they located prior to filling?
Barrel is 23"

Mounting holes must have been for a side scope mount in the 870's Pre-TarHunt life.
Here is a pic - I angled everything so that they look far more pronounced then they ever would in person.

Sweet rig here
PM's replied to - still available for now...
I shot a Tar on my first black bear hunt....was quite impressed. Glad i only muzzleload/bow hunt these days here in IA, or this one would need to be making its way to Iowa.

BTT
Thanks!
This is a sweet machine for the midwestern hunter.
PM's replied to - still for sale

Bump for a nice gun for the midwest.....
PM's replied to - but someone has yet to say the magic words!
ttt-

Could be interested in a partial trade for a Model 70 in 257WM or 264 WM (long shots, I know), a synthetic 243 or VX3 3.5-10x40
