this is one awesome gun,it is my buddies gun,it is a winchester,it is marked US model 1917 Winchester,it is custom barreled in 458Win Mag,not sure of the barrel maker,it also has a custom stock on it( I think) and a blind magazine,great gun as it sits or even better to custom make another one in your caliber..900.00 plus actual shipping

I didn't know it,and doesn't it say in the original ad that it is marked on the gun,AND for your information,I did NOT know all this info when I posted it,I was trying to research it,I posted what I knew,not everyone is a brain surgeon like you...LOL

to clarify this for EVERYONE(bricktop) I know nothing about this gun except it is in beautiful condition,I did not even know what the model was(as seen by my edit on the original post),when I figured out what it was,I corrected the post,I still don't know what I am being accused of as the gun is described as what it says ON the gun,nothing more,nothing less.A gunsmith told my buddy that alot of guys like to use the action for custom builds,maybe they do,maybe they don't,I personally don't know nor care.Not even sure of the value as the same gunsmith said it SHOULD be worth around 1000.00,I do NOT know,nor do I care.Just trying to HELP out a friend,sorry if anyone thought I misled them in any way(please PM me and let me know how though,then I will make sure it doesn't happen again)
