I have a question. How does a centerfire firing pin hit the rim on the 22mag? Or am I missing something?

The 223 Contender and G2s have a "selector switch" on the hammer that allows the use of either a center or rimfire barrel.

www.mcace.com is the manufacturer (or at least makes the same thing). They make a slew of other adaptors too.

Gluing an adapter in? No thanks. I'll just go buy 20 more guns so I can shoot anything I want.

That's a different approach... for shooting 308 in 30-06, etc. Not the same as a 22 to 223 adapter. They also make inserts with is a different concept as well.
