How well does the paint hold up to regular hunting use?? I am very interested in sending my stock to you. Thanks Robbie
Posted By: SteelCityArcher Re: Stock Painting - 01/12/14
Have you ever done an entire gun? I figure if you can do a golf cart, you probably have done an entire set-up. Also wondering how a barrel would hold up on a shotgun during a regular turkey season?

Thanks!

Posted By: mudder700 Re: Stock Painting - 01/12/14
I have never done an entire gun,but I am certain that it would not be a problem,I would think it would hold up ok on the barrel, not sure if it would remain scratch free if it were to take a header or get banged against a tree or such, but I think in the normal line of hunting it should hold up well..

Can you add some grit to a tikka synthetic stock as well?
Id like to get it painted and add some better grip to it. Whats your turnaround time?
Posted By: mudder700 Re: Stock Painting - 07/30/15
the webbing adds texture for a better grip, turn around time is less than a week..
Posted By: mudder700 Re: Stock Painting - 11/06/15
ttt, still have plenty of room to paint more....same deal-50.00 per stock you pay shipping both ways, any base color and your choice of black, silver, gold or white webbing or a combination of webbings....

Once I get my Savage A17 sorted and decide if it's a keeper I may send you some biz. That stock is uglier than Hillary and needs some serious help. Of course, Savage needs to make it run first.
