Winchester 23 XTR Pigeon Grade for Sale - 04/30/13
I need to move a few things down the road. I have not hunted my 12 gauge Winchester model 23 with extended Winchokes in 6 or 7 years so it has to go.
For those not familiar with them, the Winchester Model 23 XTR Pigeon Grade 12-gauge shotgun was introduced in 1978. It has a silver-gray satin finished receiver with engraved scrollwork. The trigger guard and top lever are also finished in silver-gray satin finish with engraving, and the trigger is blued and serrated. The high-grade American walnut stock and beavertail forearm have a high-luster finish. It has a single selective trigger, tapered ventilated rib, selective automatic ejectors, automatic safety and chrome bores. It has 3-inch chambers for regular and magnum 2-3/4 inch and 3-inch shot shells. The gun barrells are 26 inches with the extended chokes installed, Gun comes with extra chokes, wrench, and green canvas hard case with Winchester logo.
The walnut stock shows a couple of minor scratches, but it is easily 98%.
I want $1,900 shipped to your FFL in the Winchester case, $1,750 without the case. There is only one Model 23 in the rarer Winchoke version on GunsInternational right now and the ask is $2,850. This is priced to sell on a few sites so the first "I'll take it" gets it.
