.270 Winchester Tikka 695. This was the predecessor to the T3, and is somewhat heavier, this one weighing around 8-1/2 pounds with a typical hunting scope. It has a nice walnut stock with some figure, with a 5/8" thick brown rubber putt-pad. The rifle's in excellent condition and shoots VERY well, as Tikkas do. The barrel is 22" long, and the trigger breaks cleanly at 2-1/4 pounds, with a hint of overtravel. It comes with Tikka rings in what would probably be called medium height, with plenty of room for a 40mm objective. $600.

****SOLD****6.5-06 E.R. Shaw MK-VII. This rifle is based on a Savage bolt action with the front end converted to screw-in barrel threads, specially built for Shaw and then blueprinted by them.
The action and 26" #4 contour barrel are stainless, with the barrel spirally fluted, with an Accu-Trigger that breaks right at three pounds. The stock is a laminated Boyd's JRS pattern in brown and pale tan, with a 1/2" black rubbed butt-pad, and the recoil lug area has been bedded in Brownells Acra-Glas Gel, with the barrel floated. With a typical hunting scope it weighs around 9-3/4 pounds, and with its best handload it will put 3 into 1/2 MOA out to at least 700 yards. Round count is 313, and the rifle's in very good condition. I'll include a list of handloads. $700.

.221 Fireball Remington 700 Classic. This rifle is in very good condition but has been hunted. The factory trigger has been replaced by a light-pull Jard, and the action has been bedded and the barrel free-floated. It shoots very well with several handloads, and I'll include a list. The barrel had a number of rounds through it before I got the rifle, and I've shot quite a few more, but I also smoothed the throat with some fire-lapping rounds and then DBC'd the bore. Will include 200+ fired cases. $750.

I'm mostly interested in cash but might be open to partial trades. The 6.5-06 and .221 have appeared in magazine articles, and if somebody wants a copy of the article, or a letter stating I owned the rifle I'll be happy to provide them, but only at the asking prices, which I think are fair. Anybody who wants to see photos can PM me their regular e-mail address.

You know, this fireball is killin' me...had a good friend tell me they are the shizz.....

Bump for a good guy, and the hopes that someone grabs this fireball....
If this is the Tikka John got from me it is a shooter. This one is tempting me again. It is a good looking one also.

Yeah, that's the one. Pretty nice wood--and it does really shoot. If I didn't have two other .270's that also shoot great I wouldn't be selling it--though somebody is looking seriously at the .221 and if it sells....

For the weekend.
Tikka .270 is spoken for.
Is your 221 still for sale? Do you have pictures?
Thanks
Sorry, I decided to keep it after the other rifle sold.
